Our History and Background

Associated Motors Limited (AML) incorporated in 1964, possesses close on six decades of regional operational experience as a new Isuzu vehicle sales dealer, maintenance and repair solutions provider. The company enjoys a solid regional reputation for quality, reliability and integrity, and has a long association with Isuzu Motors Limited, Japan and has always maintained its position as the top dealer with Isuzu East Africa (IEA).

1993

In keeping up with a customer oriented focus, a new service center was opened in Meru to support its growing customer base in the Mount Kenya region.

1975

Associated Motors Limited started another branch in Mombasa and a year later, in Eldoret, each branch with a showroom, spare parts warehouse and workshop facilities both locations being central and prime within each region.

1966

Associated Motors Limited became Kenya's first assembler of semi-knocked down of Japanese vehicles. That time the company was in two locations, Nairobi and Kisumu through their related company namely Lake Land Motors Limited

1964

On the 24th of July 1964, Associated Motors Limited (AML) was established as a small dealership in used cars and spares for various makes of vehicles, and immediately was appointed a sole distributor of ISUZU brand of vehicles in Kenya.
